February 7, 2026
There is a unique kind of magic that unfolds when our school community comes together under the bright morning sun. This year’s LSL Annual Sports Day 2026 was more than just a series of races and matches; it was a vibrant tapestry of perseverance, teamwork, and the infectious joy of our students.
From the very first whistle, the atmosphere at the grounds was electric. Our primary and secondary students arrived with faces painted in house colours, ready to give their absolute best. But beyond the competitive edge, what truly defined the day was the compassion shown between peers. Whether it was a secondary student pausing to encourage a younger runner or teammates cheering just as loudly for the final finisher as they did for the first, the spirit of “Leading, Sharing, and Learning” was on full display.

The event featured a diverse range of activities designed to celebrate every kind of athlete and performer:
- The Opening March Past: A disciplined and colourful display of house pride that set a tone of excellence for the rest of the day.
- Dance and Cheer Performances: Each house took to the field with high-energy routines, showcasing months of practice, coordination, and creative flair. These performances truly ignited the school spirit!
- Track and Field Events: From the explosive energy of the sprints to the tactical endurance of the relay races, our students pushed their physical limits.
- Pre-Primary Games: Our youngest learners had their moment in the spotlight, participating in specially designed games that showcased their budding motor skills and immense enthusiasm.
More Than Just Gold Medals
While we celebrate those who stood on the podium, we are equally proud of every student who stepped out of their comfort zone. Sports Day is a powerful classroom for life. It teaches our children how to handle victory with humility and defeat with grace. It shows them that true empowerment comes from showing up, trying again, and supporting those around them.
To our dedicated parents: thank you for your presence and your deafening cheers from the sidelines. Your support is the foundation upon which our students build their confidence.
Congratulations to the Winners!
After a day of intense competition and breathtaking performances, one house emerged as the overall champions. A massive congratulations to Purple House (Griffin) for taking home the trophy this year! Your dedication, spirit, and teamwork were truly inspiring to witness.
Congratulations to all our participants for making this year’s event a landmark of school spirit. We are already looking forward to seeing how these young leaders carry this momentum into the classroom and beyond.
