For years, graduation seemed like something in the distance, a milestone waiting somewhere at the end of secondary school. Yet, almost without realising it, the Year 11 Class of 2026 had arrived at that moment.
Their journey was shaped not merely by lessons and examinations, but by challenges that tested them, opportunities that pushed them beyond what was familiar, and friendships formed through the ordinary moments of school life. In her message to the graduating cohort, Principal Dr Lim reminded students that the road ahead would bring new challenges and responsibilities, encouraging them to carry forward the resilience they had developed throughout their school years.
While Dr Lim looked towards the road ahead, Valedictorian Andersen Wong reflected on the journey behind them, looking beyond grades to the laughter, shared struggles and friendships that had quietly defined their school years.
There is a certain irony in graduation. For years, students work towards reaching this point, only to discover that arriving also means leaving something behind. Their journey reached another milestone with the release of the IGCSE results. While some returned to school to receive their results, others checked them online, sharing the same anticipation from different places.
As one chapter closes, new challenges and unfamiliar paths await. Yet, if their years at LEAD have taught them anything, it is that growth often begins precisely there. Congratulations, Class of 2026. Now, a new journey begins.
We also want to extend our warmest congratulations to our Year 11 students as they celebrate their IGCSE achievements. Watching our students navigate their studies with commitment, courage and maturity has been a privilege. Every challenge overcome, lesson learned and goal reached reflects the hard work and perseverance that brought them to this milestone. We are immensely proud of all that you have accomplished.
