Voice for the Voiceless: Join Our Annual Charity Carnival in Puchong

LSL Annual Charity Carnival 2026

🎉 Everyone is Welcome – Open to the Public!

We are absolutely thrilled to open our school gates to the community! Whether you are a parent, a student, a friend, or one of our wonderful Puchong neighbours, we invite you to join us for this special day. Bring your family and friends along to enjoy a vibrant morning of food, games, and crafts, all while supporting an incredibly meaningful cause.

At LSL Education Group, we believe that education extends beyond the walls of a classroom and the pages of a textbook. True learning expresses itself through the heart. To be genuinely educated is to be inherently empathetic, possessing the kindness to look at the world around us and take action where it is needed most. Our school framework aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we continuously guide our students to learn, share, and lead by example. This year, our focus deepens as we embrace a powerful, compassionate theme for our upcoming event: Voice for the Voiceless.

On Saturday, 1st August 2026, Lead International School will host its highly anticipated annual charity carnival in Puchong. This student-led initiative serves as an avenue for our students to stand up, speak out, and advocate for vulnerable groups in society who are often unheard or overlooked.

Championing UN SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

LSL Education Group - Charity Carnival - Voice for the Voiceless

LSL Annual Charity Carnival: Voice for the Voiceless, is rooted in United Nations SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. While this goal often highlights global governance, one of its core pillars is to ensure responsive, inclusive, participatory, and representative decision-making at all levels. It aims to protect the most vulnerable from neglect, exploitation, and injustice, fostering a society where everyone counts.

By stepping up as a voice for the voiceless, our students are actively localising SDG 16. They are learning that a peaceful and just world cannot exist if we ignore the vulnerable, the sick, the elderly, or the marginalized. Teaching empathy to children through charity happens when they realise that their effort, time, and dedication can build a more inclusive society where no one is left behind.

Funds raised during our carnival will be channelled directly into providing vital care, medical advocacy, shelter, and comfort through six remarkable beneficiary organisations:

  • Support MAKNA Malaysia (National Cancer Council): Standing as a pillars of strength for cancer patients who are fighting silent, exhausting battles, MAKNA provides critical financial aid, emotional support, and medical equipment.
  • Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia: Renowned for its rapid, compassionate response to human suffering, this global foundation brings hope through disaster relief, medical care, and educational assistance to families in crisis.
  • Ti-Ratana Welfare Society: Giving a safe, nurturing voice to abandoned children, neglected senior citizens, and vulnerable women by providing them with a loving home and a sense of belonging.
  • Empower the IQ70 Plus Charity: A dedicated association offering specialised, long-term care and protection for children and adults with intellectual disabilities who cannot easily advocate for themselves in society.
  • Contribute to Rumah Charis Fundraising: A multi-purpose welfare home that offers physical shelter and deep emotional guidance to distressed, elderly individuals and orphaned children.
  • Da Ai Social Welfare: Providing direct financial assistance, crisis relief, and emotional counselling to low-income families and individuals with physical disabilities who are facing sudden hardships.
