More Than a Title: What “Social Impact” Really Looks Like at LSL

April 6, 2026 — In January 2026, we were incredibly humbled to be named the Best Social Impact School 2026 by the World School Summit. It is an honour we hold dearly, but for our students, it isn’t about a trophy on a shelf. It is about the hands they hold at a local care home, the parks they clean, and the voices they find when standing up for those who cannot.

This week at Lead International School, a quiet, purposeful energy in the air. While textbooks remain open and lessons continue, our students are preparing for their most important classroom of all: the community around us.

A Gentle Start: Lessons in Heart

Pre-Primary Students Community Service | Lead International School

One of the most beautiful sights every community service is watching our Pre-Primary learners prepare for their own small outreach projects. We believe that you are never too young to understand the value of a kind gesture. By nurturing this sense of Citizenship from the tenderest age, we ensure that compassion becomes a natural instinct, rather than a scheduled task.

For these little ones, “Social Impact” isn’t a complex term. It is simply about learning to share, to care, and to lead with a smile.

Empathy in Action: Beyond the Classroom

As our older students head out later this week, they are taking part in a journey that is deeply rooted in our curriculum. From the physical grit of plogging to spending quiet, meaningful afternoons with differently-abled children, these experiences build a type of resilience that a classroom alone cannot provide.

We often say that LSL is a “one-stop learning hub,” but that hub extends far beyond our walls. Whether it is cleaning an old folks’ home or visiting the underprivileged, our students are learning that true leadership is defined by how we empower others.

A Community United: Voice for the Voiceless

These outreach programmes are the heartbeat that leads us toward our Annual Charity Carnival. This year, we continue with the theme “Voice for the Voiceless,” a mission that brings our teachers, parents, and students together as one family.

As the best international school in Puchong for families who value holistic growth, we take pride in the fact that our “best” isn’t measured by facilities alone. It is measured by the compassion our students carry with them long after they graduate.
